Got a question for you swap heads out there.
Test fitting the 44 this eventing to see how things bolt up (or not).
Question.... in this picture (click)

What did you guys do with this 'void'?? Did you have it filled (and with what?) or did you just leave it the way it is??

Another question...Has anyone done this conversion and left the front shocks as they were? We're thinking we'll need to convert the upper mount to an orbit eye for a bit of flexibility.

Any thoughts ?
Thanks!

From what I have read on these swaps is most people have just welded in a 1/2" extension to the perch. Find some flat stock and cut to fit.

You do nothing.

That is how they came from the factory on Waggy's and J-trucks. As long as the spring is tight against the spring perch thats all you need.

Rockslut nailed it...no need to do anything with that...and CJBoxer is refering to the otherside perch...:D

yep it will work great as is. also on the top mounts... weld some f250 upper shock mounts there and you'll get more travel, and the eye that you want.. leave the shock mount on the axle where it is, I did on my soa.
