I have been trying to come up with a good pitman arm to replace the CJ arm that I have now on my FJ40 and think I've found that a TJ arm might work. I really want to get back out on the road, and was wondering if either the taper on the TJ arm matches the CJ arm taper, or if the TRE itself is the same size/threads.

Will my CJ TRE fit the TJ arm, or will the TJ TRE thread into a CJ drag link?

thanks alot

my parts stores have a good return policy

and my pickel fork would work very well to pull that TRE out...

Well no shit, but what good would this forum be at all if you use that logic? I couldn't find a TJ pitman arm on a sunday so I figured I'd ask.

thanks

I have had the best luck with waggy pitman arms when fabbing power steering on an FJ40.
