OK, I'm getting the part togather to do it. I just purchased a 6 lug full width Dana 44 Front axle off a 1980 Cherokee 63"+/-. Now i am looking for a rear axle. I found a 6 lug rear axle at a near by junk yard that appears to be a 14 bolt and measure about 64". Is there a pro or con about the D60 over the 14 bolt? Or should I look at the 9"? Please only reply if you have an opionion on this subject. Yes I have used the search button but it was no help. Lots of bits and peaces.

First of all you dont want your rear axle to be wider than your front.

A 14 bolt is a bit stonger than a D 60. The detroits are cheap for this axle.

But... their is less ground clearance on a 14 bolt. Not that a 60 never touches the ground!

14 bolts are 8 lug.

not all 14 bolts are 8 lug... the stronger ones are.
the 8 lug 14 bolts use the larger ring gear, and have a drop out pinnion/with a support bearing for it in the housing. the 6 lug ones don't have that, and are harder to find but less wanted...

The 9.5" ring gear 14 bolt came in 6 and 8 lug configuration semifloater design.

The 10.5" ring gear 14 bolt only came in 8 lug, full floater design.

Detroits are cheap for 10.5" ring gear 14 bolts.

Detroits are expensive for 9.5" ring gear 14 bolts.

OK, ya learn stuff everyday.

I've always looked for the pinion on the large FF 14 bolts, never knew they even made six lug SFs.

First off, you are not full width if you use Waggy axles.

Secondly, not sure what axle you found but any 14 bolt 9.5 or 10.5 never came in 64" widths except for the Dually 10.5 14 bolt that was 8 lug.

You could 8 lug the front end and find a dually 14 bolt for the rear. Or run a waggy M20 6 lug rear end. Toyotas also had a rather strong rear end that is arond that width and 6 lug.
