Xtreme Crawlers :skull: now has Big Horns!!! Call me or get on the site, they are ready to order!!

Big Horn C-Series Nitrogen Air Shock are $239
Big Horn C-Series Coilover W/Hardware are $335

Big Horn Shocks are the first shocks available to the public engineered specifically for RockCrawling.

CA Series

Crawler Air Shock Features List:

• More axial clearance at the end loops permits longer shock mount brackets

• Aluminum parts are finished with clear anodize Shows wear and rock dings less Compatible with most all vehicle color schemes.

• Bright clear zinc body finish standard. Weathers well, less subject to pitting penetration.

• Units are fully rebuildable.

• Tube bores are fully honed to 32 rms, dimensioned +/- 0.001”. Extends piston wear ring life, damping consistency.

• End loops use aircraft-quality teflon-lined ½” spherical bearings.

• 100% Made In USA – no foreign outsourcing.

• Shafts are 1-1/4” steel DOM tubing, ground, hard-chromed and polished Finished to <16 rms for best seal life. Thick wall for extra strength and rigidity.

• Piston valving is linear and tuneable without completely disassembling the shock. Linear valving is for crawler applications only, where vehicle speeds are not excessive. Better for roll damping, power “hopping”

These shock use Hydrospec Hydraulic AW-22 Oil, and Parker Seals. Readily available from nearly anywhere that deals in hydraulic equipment. There are even equivalent cross-reference PN's for all seals.

C Series

Crawler Coil-over Shock Features List:

• Full stroke available the lower spring perch allows full travel without hitting the shock body.

• More axial clearance at the end loops permits longer shock mount brackets

• Aluminum parts are finished with clear anodize Shows wear and rock dings less Compatible with most all vehicle color schemes.

• Bright clear zinc body finish standard. Weathers well, less subject to pitting.

• End loops use aircraft-quality teflon-lined ½” spherical bearings. • 100% Made In USA – no foreign outsourcing.

• Custom lengths/finishes/modifications can be accommodated.

• Shafts are 7/8” carbon steel, ground, hard-chromed and polished. Finished to <16 rms for best seal life.

Looking at desertfabs post, the bighorn air shocks had a 1-7/8" shaft. A 1.25" shaft in the larger 2.5" body seems odd to me. Can you confirmt he shaft diam?
