I've got a 225 buick , and I heard a ford 2 barrel carb works good, even on the hills, Is this true, and If so what model carb.

the motorcraft 2100 carb works well off camber indeed. Other than that I know nothing about them. I do know that a qjet for a buick 3.8/4.1 works well on the 225 though.

Has anyone ever put a motorcraft on a 225 here? I want to run this set up, but i want to know if it needs an adapter first. TIA :D

I was just told the mototcraft 2100 will work great on the hills.
You will need an adaptor.

Also be careful with the CFM of the carb. Lotta 2100's ran on v8's

2100 or a small quad like Mikes both work great.

The Motorcraft 2100 is going to be my next poject on my 258. As far as the cfm's go the 2100 with the number 1.08 has the right cfm's for the 6 cylinders. As for the adapter for the V6 I don't know, but they call the one for the I6 is a large 2 barrel to small 2 barrel manifold adapter. The number from Summit TDR-2086 for the 258 adaper.
