Co Pilot 03-16-2002, 08:48 AM OK, I'm a "newbie" let the bashing begin... :D
Let me introduce myself...
My name is Rose and I am the Co Pilot/Spotter to "Mustard Dog" (my husband) - we have an 82 'Mustard' Yellow Fj40 (too nice to wreck) - & the newest addition is our 67 'Ketchup' Red Fj40 (the token trail rig) that we took to TDS just a few weeks ago.. and had a Blast with.
hope to meet you on a trail some day...
Rose

fj40guy 03-16-2002, 01:58 PM Welcome aboard. ;)
I got tired off all the pop ups... ya, I signed, but where's my red star?
No bashing from me... funny I wondered off into another area and tried to help a 4runner and he just jumped all over me for being a clueless newbie. Number of post doesn't match wisdom. :D
No sig line... but have a fairly stock '70 FJ40 that my oldest son (almost 12) is started to call dibs on! Told kiddo to go build his own! Current rate of mt free time... four years would be about right. :D
Tom :usa:
dog walker 03-16-2002, 05:20 PM Welcome Rose! Thats a very prety name by the way! Here in this forum you can count on not getting bashed, unless your really lame or somthing, and I doubt that you are;) You very well may be the only female on this forum as well:girly:
I got tired off all the pop ups... ya, I signed, but where's my red star? Lance has been out of town for the past couple weeks, so that may be the reason why you have no red star yet.

Ah yes, but someone has to keep up the tone of the BB. Why, we'll never be elevated to ranks of the inteligencia if we bahave like a bunch of miscreant rabble! Such manners, indeed. I say, would you pass the Grey Poupon!:rasta:

woody 03-18-2002, 11:48 AM Welcome to the PBB :flipoff2: (in the friendliest sort of way...heh heh)
Remember, there are no stupid questions, only stupid people.....er....uh.....or something like that.....
Now, can you tell the difference between a 60 and a 62 series from the front at 100 yards?? My wife can.....it was part of her "courting" tests...lol
Do they make Grey Poupon with a sach of habenero or horseradish for flavor??? If so, Pass it over!

My "Little Sis" was out running past a car lot one day with a coworker. She spotted a clean FJ60 at 1/2 mile from the lot... did a quick U Turn and drove back to check it out. Told the Salescritter that she was interested in the FJ60... to which the idiot said "No, that is a FJ62". Her curt reply was "I'm not driving an automatic in the snow, nor do I care for power windows!" Quick learner!
Oh, she bought it (heck of a good deal) and is still running around Carson City with it. Funny but she noticed a few turned heads of "who was that" in it. Ya, Cruiser Chick. ;-)
He last comment as something about "looking for a clean FJ40, but don't want to deal with any bad engine swaps". Uh, wonder if I can talk her into moving to Texas. :D
