(605487) FORD 60 REAR 1992-93 1/2 E-350 VAN SARW - FULL FLOAT

Would this be a good axle for the rear of my XJ, has anyone ran one.

I'm totally not sure on this, but I thought Ford went to the Sterling axle on all the 3/4 ton and greater stuff since about '90?

I like a Sterling axle, but there are some limitations with it.

I havent run that exact axle, but for the most part, that rear 60 will do alright back there. Is it a 30 or 35 spline axle?

Cool, thanks fro the info. I'm going Sterling on the buggy, mostly 'cause it's free.

yes, vans were still running them. some are dana 61. they should all be 30 spline in the years since about 1977 IIRC. this one might have the hole for the sensor for E40D as well. I run a D60 from a 1978, like it alot so far.
