I'm contemplating a shackle flip for my rig, but I have a question about strength. I tow a pop up type (not overly heavy) camper on the weekends in the summer, how safe will my truck be if I decide to do the flip? Should I not do it, do it and don't worry, do it with the f450 shackles I hear about, beef my stock shackles?

if you search youll see alot of stuff bout shackle flips, i have yet to flip mine or id be able to give better info, but i think you would be ok if you had some real beefy shackles and try it out. just dont go crazy on the skinny pedal and id add a set of ladders or something to prevent wrap, ive read somewhere that a shackle flip makes your axel wrap a lil more, but i cant verify
