I got an 86 F-350 4x4. I always thought the front joint in the front Drive line was a 1330. I was taking things apart this weekend and the joint is something strange. the cross is a 1330 cross and all the trunion ends are the same but it has two different OD caps. One cap is the same a 1310(the DL caps) and the pinion yoke caps are a 1/16" bigger. These are not 1350 caps, i checked with 1350 joint i had. What is the spicer # for this joint? I had another mid 80's 60F laying around and the yoke on the pinion is the same.

That's a std Ford u-joint. 1-1/8" cap on the pinion side. Otherwise a 1330 size joint.
I don't think its even a Spicer joint... Neapco crosses it over to a P55-55-675 CLEVELAND.

Ford uses an odd size 1330 joint on one ton axles. I've heard it called a 1330C. The cap size is between a standard 1330 and a 1350. If your joint has two different sized caps, it's a conversion joint to connect a mismatched driveshaft and pinion yoke.

Nope. That's how Ford did it. 1-1/16" caps on the DL side, and 1-1/8" caps on the pinion side.

it is NOT a conversion joint. both rigs(1tons) had all the factory hardware. Thanks U2slow for the hookup, this answers my question.

yep, in the spicer book it's called the "ford 1-1/8" joint.
Ford stated using them in the 80's
My 89' F-150 had them on both ends of the front driveshaft, and at the rear axle.
I think it is pretty similar in size to the S44 GM joint.
