Yeah, I saw that happen, he's lucky to just have hurt his ankle. He was a pretty good sport, didn't even want to go to the hospital!

Well that sounds like Eric alright, and i'll bet he learns how to drive left footed real fast too.

Thats unfortunate, ...With the sport of rock crawling EXPLODING as it is, atleats from what iv'e seen, with out tighter restrictions on spectators and people with cameras, a much worst accident looms in the future!!

Got off the phone with him a little while ago and he said it was his left heel that exploded. And he will be driving home tonight or tomorrow.

Chris's women told a bunch of us at Tellico that Moose had injured is back pretty bad during the first season moving some big rocks, thats why he chose to give up he's job as spotter.

I don't think he could feel the pain. It was snowing sideways and he had shorts on. I think he was so cold he couldn't feel his foot or anything else for that matter.

Just got back from the doc.

Signed up to go under the knife next tues, for some screws and pins and other fun stuff

Doc say's I could probably push on a brake pedal in 2 months, But definatly still on crutches for around 3-4 months.

I think Ian & I are gonna swap spots ( driver/spotter ) since I probably won't be walking by the Vernal event.

Thanks for driveing me around RJ and every one else that lent me a hand in keeping mobile on the sandstone.

It may look terible, but atleast it hurts like hell!

Oh YA!

we had 0 points for the weekend up to that point, and Ian had to drive the last 3 obstacles w/o a spotter, we still finished 8th, not good but not bad
