Myself and a couple of buddies are planning a trip to the rubicon (from Seattle) Would like to go around Marlin event. We all have mildly built Toys, dual cases, longs, hysteer, etc. and am wondering what you guys would bring for spare parts? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this along with a zip lock bag for diposal!
Yea now days you gotta pack out the solids:barf: :barf::barf: No more planting white flowers:laughing:
If you going with a group each person carrys different odd items. I would first make sure you have a rig in good mech shape, after that bring a ton of items and you can leave some at the trial head. Its a Trailer Queen? Items that can get damage is wide open question.

extra hoses, fluids, spare hubs, axles, pretty much anything that you can to make sure that you can make it out of where you're stuck and back home. If it is a TQ, you can just keep all of your recovery stuff with that truck, and pack more in.

Am going to be trailering it. It isn't a trailer queen and is borederline "street legal". How long of a drive out would it be to get back to tow rigs? We have planned on all bringing different things; Just not sure what as far as big ticket items i guess. Will bring the obvious front and rear inners and a couple of birfs, hubs, hoses, spare tires, and some fluids. Would you need to bring jerry cans of fuel? I guess it depend on how far in you camp?
Thanks
Jason
You don't need extra fuel if you still have the stock tank. I assume you would be parking at the Loon lake entrance. You can add an extra battery to your list. There is a gas station about 15 miles down from the Loon Lake entrance at the Crystal Basin store. $3.95 gal  There is cheaper gas in town about 35 miles from the entrance. It's not far to get back out. I think spider lake is about 5-6 miles in. Got lights under your rig? Those can be handy while drive at night, plus a loud stereo to let everyone know your coming  You should pay your dues $20.00 get a red star and post a pic of your toy. Or at least a link to pic of it. Heavy duty rock slider are a must. Good working heater would be nice as it getting cold in the mornings.
When is this run??

Okay... One battery added to list. I do have some sliders/protection. It will be a whole different deal for me used to old, muddy, rooted up trails up here. So the rocks will be a little different deal. Should be ok though. We'd probably be going late August. Pretty excited about the trip been one of those things i've always dreamed of doing. Still have a lot of details to work out. Any input is apreciated. Im a computer idiot as far a posting pics. I could E-mail R290?
thanks
