this is from my 76 scout that is all stock (as fare as I know) and is drive shaft is larger in diameter then my 78 scoutII also all stock
just wondering if they downsized in later years

I've seen one or two that big. Not many though, not sure if it was factory

Are they both Scout II's? The Scout Travelers have a larger diameter shaft than the Scout II. Some one might have shortened a Traveler shaft and used it on the Scout for more beef? Thats what I did when i did the spring over.

I had one of that diameter on my 2wd. Maybe someone shortented one from a 2wd...

Looks the same as what's on my Scout II. But it was shortened from a Traveler...
