looking at Camini's ceramic coated headers and it lists "Fits '89-'92 Amigo only." The sales person was more than fucking clueless
Any diffrence between these 2 that anone can think of that would make me not be able to use them?
They are only $30 more than some Pacesetters and They are coated but i want ones that will FIT !

The EGR tubes mount differently. You will need to swap for a pre-93 tube for it to work.

Been a long time since I've seen the stock exhaust but I would say it is about 2". I can check the collector size if you want. I have one in the box. Whatever size it is, it is adequate for the 2.6. And Michael is correct about the EGR tube, the header fits, you just need to change the EGR tube out.

I found another solution for the EGR tube problem :D
first i went with the Pacesetter header as it breaths a little better and well...i am cheap  and i have 4.3 swap planned anyway.
I just went and made a flange the same as on a 94 amigo's EGR and welded the bitch on the threaded tube. TAADAAAA fits better than factory.
oh and a 40 series flowmaster is a little loud on a 2.6

If its anything like my old and trail-beaten Dynomax super-turbo, not only is it loud but it sounds like ass too:flipoff2:

no, it actualy sounds pretty good...but a *little* too loud  Right now i am waiting for my new catalytic converter to come in so that should tone it down a little.
If not i will have to add a resinator so it doesnt drive me nuts on the trail.
APRILRAZZ says it sounds like i replaced my 4 rabid squirrels with 4 slightly annoyed badgers

I'm cool with the cheap part -- that makes plenty of sense.
Curious as to the other part, tho, as i have never seen any side-by-side instrumented comparisons of these two headers (and would like to). Got a link?

I chose the pacesetter for a few reasons: bigger collector. if your are gonna run a header you might as well address the pipes after. going from a 2in collector to a 2.25 or 2.5 exhaust is kinda retarded.
dont realy care for the Tri-y and they usualy end up being very RPM picky.
I knew i was going to be modifying it and there is no point is grinding away at a ceramic coating in order to weld on a new flange and ruin it.
Pacesetter header

1.5 inch 16ga primaries into a 2.5inch collector 3/8inch flange to head. comes with a 2.5inch to 2 inch reducer/adapter. offered in plain steel or ceramic coated. steel is $150ish and coated is a hundred more.
Calmini (pictured on bottom) no size listed for primaries (look 1.5) 2 inch collector. Tri-Y design, 3/8 flange only offered in ceramic coating $200

From my testing back in the day, I found that 2.25 was the best diameter for the 4ZE1 and CALMINI header. 2.5 netted a measurable decrease in acceleration times, but that may have been a result of pairing it with the header. Dunno, might be different for the Pacemaker.
BTW, now that you posted the pics, there is a CLEAR advantage to the CALMINI header... that sticker has simply GOTTA make more power! :flipoff2:
Any feedback on the seat-of-the-pants feel of the Pacesetter + exhaust? I hated modding mine, because even a 5% power gain would be nearly undetectable, starting with so few ponies up front!

well my clutch is circleing the drain so "testing" will have to wait till the new clutch in a week or so  It does seem to push it down the highway a lot easier, definatly feels like less of a load on the engine.
