Anybody know any company making a solid axle leaf spring conversion for 1997 f150? Saw a couple 4 link kits but one has been discontinued.

NOPE do it your self i did it on my 81f150 and 80 thru 96 are the same frame and i dont think a 97 would be to different anaways it wasnt too hard i used 52 inch rear chevy springs for the front however i have a big block so i added 2 leifs but u prolly have a small block so a stock leif would work mine were 84 surburban Good luck and measure twice then twice again..

These 97s are whole different animals, you would need to do some major fabbing to make it work.

91-92 was the first year for the crumple frames. 92 for sure.

Jeffs bronco Graveyard sells a kit using radius arms, might get some ideas from that kit.

this is just an idea, but whats stopping you from picking up a cheap frame that is easy to setup, im not into newer fords so i have no idea what it looks like under the body, but if i were doign this id goto a junk yard and pickup a cheap frame to start from, then just drop the body onto it. but like i said, i know nothing bout 90's, and barely anything bout 80's. bash me if you will

it'd be easiest to cut off the crumple zones and replace with rectangle tubing
