I've been planning on stretching the wheelbase for a while now. About ready to bite the bullet, but was thinking that I could save a lot work and room by just going to coilovers or Air shocks when I do it. So, it got me to thinking about spring rates and stuff for the front of an EB.
First of all, I don't plan to go with a link setup. I will likley just keep the long arms and move everything forward 4". So, I'm curious what spring rates and coilovers you guys are using on your rigs. This is a street driven rig as well as a hardcore Hammers rig, so I need something rather stable and not too soft. I'm needing around 4" of lift out of it and do have a HS9500i on the front.
Also, what about Air Shocks? I was looking at the 2.5" Fox Air Shocks that Poly Performance has on sale, and for $250/ea, I may go that route. I just worry about blowing a seal on the street and all of a sudden I'm on a bumpstop. Any info here as well?
