half-cab

Hey all,

Here's some of what I did this weekend.

I used the tail gate to cover part of the cab opening. Its like it was almost designed to fit in there. Plus its light weight and sturdy. I still need to pretty it up a bit.

Basically its just sitting on the floor pan like so....

and welded where it hits the targa bar on each side. Its a nice fit near the targa too...maybe 1/8" gap on each side.

Now to figure out how long to make the wheelbase.....is +10" too much ?

HEY!!!!!!! thats my project..........i'm serious, thats exactly what i did.......only i didn't weld the rear door on yet......trying to make it work, but not going to happen............

How about some pics of the whole thing??????

o yeah 10" w/b won't be enough......:D ............ mines going 95-100" i havent decided yet.........:p ........ 100" should be good.......

i wish i could do that i am looking right at the targa bar when i turn my head either way. i am too damn tall to drive these damn things but i love them so much i cant trade up. i tried one of those duster half cab things but it was not happening with how far my tall ass has to slide back!! i will have to get some different seats or something!!??! with big notches in the back!! :nuke: :mad3:
