check out tirerack.com-no affiliation, just where I found the cheapest for what i wanted, and they have reviews of the tires on there as well.

bfg all terrains are very popular, no experience.

I bought my mtrs from tire rack also I liked the reviews section and low prices.

Tires are probably your most important truck component so I wouldn't skimp on them-- you get what you pay for.

I loved my General Grabber M/Ts, got 35,000 out of them with regular rotation. They only come in a 31, 33 and 35 though. Lots of guys around here run the Pep Boy Futura A/Ts and the Enforcer M/Ts, never heard any complaints.

For all terrains I like Wild Country TXR's, they're about the most aggressive AT I've ever seen and have a 50k treadwear warranty. They basically look like a traditional MT but have siping and a -slightly- tighter lug spacing.

I've got BFG AT KOs.
They are ok but gum up really easily. That's really my only complant.

They aren't the best tires that is for sure, the sidewall isn't all that thick but at about 11 psi they work damn good for the price. I ran them in the 33" flavor on my XJ and never had a problem.

Is it four wheeling if you're running AT's?

I'd recommend going to local places and finding somebody that carries a BFG AT KO knockoff (Around here I see "Road Kings" and "Mud Kings" for AT/MT's).

Here's a suggestion, get some cheap road tires (not even AT) for the street, and get some cheap mud tires like the Interco Super Swamper LTB's. 34" LTB's are like 130-something last I looked in a mag. Correction, 123 in Desert Rat in 4wheeler mag. This would be best idea for you I think. Just an idea though.

Has anybody tried the Yokohama Geolander M/T's? They're kinda cheap

kumho venture m/ts id say are the best bang for the buck. good tread wear, cheap, sturdy. comparable to bfg m/ts

Good traction onroad, decent in the dirt. After looking at them, the sidewalls are a very weak link. They are paper thin, I don't think they would take much abuse.
I see creases in the sidewalls of these, anytime they are on 1/2 ton or heavier pickups. That can't be a good thing.

My vote would be for the BFG or Procomp AT/MT.

I run grabber mt tires 0n my samuari they are 35s it is a trail only rig I run them at 8 psi in the clay around here they seen to go better than TSLs but not as good as boggers yes the side walls are thin but Ive had no problems even in the rocks they have been on my sami for three years and show no wear other than some cuts to the tread a friend of mine has a set of 35s on his fs bronco dd and are still in great shape after 2 years of use. Btw they work great in snow . They might not be the tire for you but they have been good to me the only reason my next set wont be grabbers is that 35s are too small for the type of wheelin Ive progressed to .

I run 33" BFG ATs. They were fairly cheap and have descent traction on the rocks at 14 PSI.

BFG AT are great, and you can get them from costco cheap usually
