TRDwannabe 10-20-2005, 07:51 PM its a friends 93 toyota 4 runner,auto locking hubs,the front wheels wont lock in.what are some common things to look for?how do they lock in?vacumn?electric?.i know nothing about em ,my truck has manual hubs so im lost. hugh jeffner 10-20-2005, 08:33 PM if you buddy's setup is the vaccuum style, you can tell because there won't be a manual locking hub on the front wheels. then this is the solution (http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/add/), i did it on my 4runner and it worked great, but if you don't want to do this major of surgery, it's probably just a torn vaccuum line in the ADD system somewhere. | |
