Alright I'm need a braking upgrade. I have sold my 44" boggers already and have 42" iroks on 20" rims(just for big brakes) and I can't seem to stop the damn thing for shit. Its still got the drums in the rear(going to change that SOON). Will putting disks in the rear help slow my down even if say I put 52" michelins(have a set @ the house) on the truck. I just want to be able to stop to the best of my abilities.

disc brake conversion on the rear
1ton master cylinder
hydro-boost
and you'll lock up any tires you put on there :D

Check your rubber lines. Often they will swell up and kill your brakes. Also 1 ton booster will make a huge difference. You want one that has a smaller circumfrence, but is twice as thick. I put one on my 78 and it made a world of difference.

Do the hydroboost change first, then decide if you need 4 wheel disc. Either way you'll need the hydroboost, but a good chance you'll leave the drums as is once you put the hydroboost on.

will the hydroboost setup you guys have(VANCO) for the bronco work on my truck? If not do you guys off a kit?

The stock brakes should stop that truck with no problems if they're in good condition. My bone stock 76 F250 would stop on a dime with 2k loaded in the back.
I think what happens too often is the rear brakes get halfassed and the proportional valve/residual valve (whatever that thing is) doesn't let the fronts work properly because it's too busy trying to get the rear brakes working.
I've seen adjusting the rear brakes fix it temporarily, but the self-adjusters are usually at fault because they get stuck or broke. Leaking wheel cylinders ($8 each) are also a common problem.

well I think I'll just do the rear brake swap with 1 ton mc. If that takes care of everything then I'll be even happier.

Adjust your rear shoes first. When my brakes go to shit, normally that will bring em back.

I've built a dozen kits for your truck, they're not in kit form yet but cost about the same.
If you can lock up your brakes now that may be an idea. Keep in mind going to a bigger master cylinder puts out less pressure, so it'll be harder to stop. That's only a good idea if you already have the power to lock em up and want a higher pedal.
