Ok so I did a rear coil conversion and front soa conversion on my buddy's 1985 cj-7. Rear coils are aerostar and the front springs are a set of rear toyota leaf packs. Just a traditional 4 link setup and the gas tank has been moved up considerably. Front and rear axles are off a 1980 toyota.

That looks good. How long are the arms? What material are they fabbed out of? And what kind of rod ends did you use?

It's not mine but a friend's who goes to school where I did. It started with me doing an soa on his old jeep axles with wrangler springs but he wanted something different and wanted stronger axles too so this is what we came up with. The arms are made out of schedule 80 pipe and the heims are tractor heims at our local tractor supply place. The pipe is hella heavy duty and I know it works cause I've bashed the shiat out of mine and they have never bent nor dented and the tractor heims are 20 bucks for 2 of them and seem to work well. I think I made the arms about 4 feet long or so.

Yes the yellow "Hornet" is mine. What left of a 1980 toyota pick up. fullwidth 44 and 12 bolt. coils on the front with 5 link and 1/4 elliptic on the rear with a wishbone 3 link. 4 banger, 4 speed, triple case, and interchangeable square drivelines turning 39.5 tsl on 11 inch homemade beadlocks.
