I Bent my pitman arm a couple of weeks ago on the left line up the gate keeper. You can see it bent and twisted. This Arm was only 5 months old after switching to Luke's Arms(4x4 Labs) i put the longer of the two pitman arms on and it didn't last.

None of your links or red xs work. Hard to see what you're talking about.

Sounds like you need a better pitman arm, I've never bent one, nor do I know anyone who has.
What did you pull it from, a yugo?

I've bent 3 pitman arms. The stock cj or waggy arms suck balls. Go find a find a F150 arm They have a little bit of drop and are stought. Waggy pitman arms bend like string cheese.

The Older bronco's f150 f100's? used the same secter shaft spline. The f250 some 150's use a larger splined shaft. I'm not sure of the aplication of the one i bent. if the red star ever works you'lle see the old one (not bent) is shorter, GM passenger car. The new Bent one i believe is J**p.
I am going to try the astrovan first and if doesn't "stay sraight" then i'll give Gary a call.

What do you think caused them to bend?

Usually it was from hitting a tree on a tight section of trail or a good size rock and just clipping it enough to jerk the wheel in your hands. Before I went to a bigger ps. res. it used to backpresssure the ram and shoot the fluid out the top of the stock saginaw res. Also being such small volume and having ram assist liked to change the fluid level in the res. dramactically from left to right. Usually they twisted were they next down. I got a ford arm off a older f150 and it's been great.
