EBSteve and I did run all over walker valley today. The snow really makes walker fun! Had it all to ourselves too. To cold for the Heepers I guess :flipoff2:

You can find all the photo's here

I'm hosting them on my DSL connection, so if it's slow....PISS OFF:flipoff2: :D

What time were you guys there? Did you see anyone from my club there? Cool pics, :cool2: I wish I could have been there. :(

Paul we didn't see anyone from your neck of the woods. In fact we really only saw 2 toyota's. We were breaking trail for the most part too. They did have the entrance shut off cuz the motorcycle thing. I talked to the one of the guys patrolling walker, and he'd been there since 7am and hadn't seen any other 4wd's.

Rubicrawler, get your arm installed! I am very pleased with mine. It really made a big difference. Much less resistance when driving up an obsticle. I can easily idle up stuff now, where before I would have had to been slightly off idle to get it to climb. Kinda hard to explain, but it's noticeably better. Much more stable too!

Paul hurry up and get of your gimp status...we want to put more dents in your exploder. :nuke:

Steve got a nice dent in his fender today when he blew a bead. His bronco leaned into the stump on the expressway.

BTW, don't ask about my finger.

I actually drove it today!!! First time it has moved in seven weeks. I can get in and out but I can still feel it pulling so I have to be careful. I'm going to get a little foot stool so it's easier to get into. Sure is nicer to drive than my old Chevy. It's funny though, after sitting so long my radials flat spotted on me.

The radials do flat spot..... They recover quickly though. Did you see Steves new shoes?

Yeah I notice them. :smokin: Looks like he needs some narrower wheels though. ;)

That or some SteveLocks:rainbow:

I never pop beads, and I air way down every time. I believe the radial tires help a lot to prevent it. I think the sidewalls flex instead of putting all the pressure on the bead. The super tough sidewalls on the SX's and boogers, I believe leads to more popped beads. Just something I was thinking about today. Obviously it's a win/lose situation. For the wheelin I do, the Radials have always treated me right, and you can't beat a radial in the snow.

I never had a problem with the bias ply tires at very low pressures. On a 7" wide wheel you don't need beadlocks. :D

Nice pics. Now I really want to wrist my arm. Only problem is I need longer shocks, F250 towers and I think I'm swapping coil buckets to EB ones at the same time. Plus hook up my swaybar with quick disconnects (wife's daily driver) and do a tierod flip because my steering is really bent up.

Oh well, sometime soon.

Let's wheel soon, now I'm only 45 min from Walker!

Cheers
Dale

Hey Tiessen, wish you could have joined us saturday. We covered a lot of ground with only 2 rigs. I think Steve is going again next weekend, but I can't go cuz it's my wifes B-day.

So you live right on the border now huh? I mean eh? One more move and you'll be :usa:

After I get my bronco a little more street legal, I'm going to make a run your way. I'm scared I'll get hasseled at the border, or by your police. Just not worth it right now.

Screw you just because you 29's don't come off the bead :flipoff2: it is not my fault. I am going to get started on my beadlocks this week but as soon as the engineer calls I am not working on anything except the shop.

Dale shoot me a line and I will let you know about this weekend stevenadtanya@juno.com

Paul did you see the picture where Matt was pull satrting me it looks like I was stuck in 4" of snow. I will have my charging problem fixed before this weekend or at least a spare batery.

Was it just me, or did you really spin off the road in that 3rd pic down? Was looking at the tracks!!!:D Any fun stories behind that one? We have been robbed this year of snow here in AZ... nice pics bro!

Geez Steve, I wish you wern't beating that Bronco, ain't many good looking ones left.

Matt, what day is Sara's B'day? How about Sunday some time? I want to test out my new rear springs and a guy that's been modifying an F250 in the garage want's to try it out. He shortened it to 105 or so inches added a 4 link and some other nonsense :>)

The wifes B-day is sunday. She layed down the law and said NO WHEELIN......

I definately want to go wheelin with fearme again soon. Maybe the following weekend if you're up to it. This is going to be a good wheelin year. I hope to get out a lot.

Steves bronco is definately starting to take a beating. Walker valley has a tendency to do that. The fender wasn't even his fault, when the bead blew, his bronco leaned over onto the stump at the expressway. Kinda sucks, but it should pop out fine.

Which picture?

No one ran off the road, at least not on accident. Steve was turning around in a tight spot, and just as he got sideways he killed the bronco and then it wouldn't start. Looked like his battery took a dump. I managed to get turned around without hitting him and gave him a jump start. stickin my thumb in the alternator in the process (whoops  )

Doesn't AZ get robbed of snow every year?
