How do you do a doubler by adding a divorced 205??? clock the hell out of it till the front isnt in the way anymore??? I haven't seen any pics or one in real life before? I have a div 205 and a d20 in my scout how is this done? It seems easy if I had a bronco d20 and the front output would be outta the way.

Well, you could clock the NP205 down a bunch (I've wondered if the stock clocking in my Travelall would let the NP205 clear a '20 in front if it)..

OR.. you cut the front output off the front Dana 20. Chop it just outboard of the intermediate shaft..

I know absolutely nothing about y-cases on the internals aspect so I dont think there will be any "chopping" :flipoff2: I will look around more and haul that heavy ass mofo up and see what it would look like  Maybe more trouble than its worth... Thanks for the help again Tom :)

I did mean "clock the output DOWN" so it would hang down more and be rock fodder. Yep, that was my suggestion.

At least, one of them. :D

I did notice my T'all NP205 hangs down some.. what I'm not positive of is whether or not the front driveshaft would clear a "horizontal" Dana 20 coming from the slightly down NP205..

Another option.. run a Ford HP44 front (or 60!) and a Ford divorced NP205, leaving the Dana 20 untouched..

Then you just need to worry about a Scout II's mechanical clutch linkage on the driver's side..

ROCK DETECTOR is what I was gonna say, but yeah, I think the next best idea was the Ford HPD44 with a Div. Ford 205.

Send it to me, I'll figure out a design that will work and run it on my rig, then I will send you the complete write up so you will have it when you get another divorced 205.;) . Hell, I'll even pay the shipping.

I think this idea (ford dv/205) is awsome combine it with a hp D60 and your there.

as far as the clutch lingkage goes. if you went to a hydraulic throwout bearing style with a master from some little import
youd get the room on the right side you need to run the front shaft .

I still like the chopping idea. I have so damn many dana20's in a pile its pethetic...why not chop one and try to make worth something.

then again I wanna see chiscouters doubler....that sounds like a awsome solid set up
