what is the gearing on a datsun 720 1984 with a z24 engine?
I know how to check it, but the truck is not mine and my friend is living 100miles from me so I`l ask you guys
and is this a passenger or a driver side t-case and whats the gearing of it?
I know its alot of question but I really dont know datsun so if you could give me some site for specs and all, I want to learn as much as I can before we start the SAS.

Proabably the dismal 4.11:1. Look in the doorjamb and see if the manufacturers sticker is still there. You probably have either HF41 or CA41 depending on whether you have an H190 rear or a C200.

Don't think there's a door jamb sticker on the 720, it'll be on the plate in the engine bay instead.

the t-case is a center drop...so it can go either way...
