are there any options other than the atlas case? my buddy has a 67 bronco, and hes trying to get a right hand drop so he can use a chevy dana 60 in it. thanks.

Get a Divorced transfer case from a Dodge.

Put the Ford 31 spline input gear into a GM 6 bolt pattern 205 case. Might clock it funny, though.

he could just run a doubler using a ford 203 and chevy/dodge 205. its a bit expensive though.

I've got a few posts on this. Stak is an option, so is the doubler. You can swap shafts and use a GM case (single) - you'd have too search for my posts for more info. I'm not sure which way I am going yet..

I think AA makes a C6 to Dana 300 adapter.

STaK displayed our Bronco Box at the offroad expo, It is designed to fit specifically in the early Broncos, It will be available in right or left hand drops.
It will have the same gear ratio options that the normaL monster box will have;1:1 3:1 5.4:1 or the new Overdrive case 1:1 0.8:1 3.7:1.
We hope to offer even more gearing ratio options in the future.
The case will be a direct bolt in to the factory manual transmission or the C4.
Adapter for other transmissions are available.
The Bronco Box (and the regular monster box in OD) should be available in January 06.
Please let us know if you have questions.

bolts to a C4 but is that the same as the C6 or do you need another adapter?

I am pretty sure your local junkyard would trade u your chevy d60 for a ford d60 without much trouble, then u can stay all ford (its better)If u start using chevy parts u may find yourself broken doun on the trail ....cant have that.

I don't think the junkyard will have a non-used, military d60 with 4,56 gears and limited slip to trade. my buddy wants to use what he has, so we'll probably find a chevy 205 and swap some stuff around. and besides, its a DANA part, not really a chevy part. only thing that makes it chevy is the side it drops on, so get over it. :smokin:

Dumbass.

Dana Spicer made every single Dana 60 out there. If you can prove to me that Ford built their own Dana 60, then I will print this thread out and eat it:flipoff2:
