I had a Samurai stolen from my shop this weekend. I am offering a $2000 cash reward for information leading up to the recovery of the vehicle and catching the thiefs.

Zuk guys in Utah, please keep an eye out for the vehicle at home and in Moab. It is big, black, and pretty obvious. The body is covered with black herculiner. its sits on 33's, but has room for 35's.

Those out of state, please keep an eye out for parts up for sale on Ebay coming from this area. Items which may appear for sale would be...

-Superwinch 9000
-Prerunner front bumper
-33x15.50 TSL SX's on 10 wheels
-Axles or differentials with Lockrights and 5.38's
-4.16 tcase with 2 low
-Bushwacker flares
-White Vinyl doors
-White Kayline safari top
-Tuffy overhead console
-Rear Crawler II bumper with accessory rack (does not have spare tire mount, instead has two gas can carriers and Hi Lift mount)
-Full 6 point roll cage
-Rear disc brake kit
-2 QuickAir II compressors
-Completely new rebuilt 1.3 engine
-Prototype Reverse Missing Link front suspension
-Custom National rears on Missing Links
-KAD driveshafts front and rear

ect, etc, etc.....

It was very likely a customer of ours since the vehicle was not visible from the street. It was flat towed away since the engine was not operational yet (I was in the process of installing fuel injection).

This really sucks

Tough break, G.W.
Hope yer insurance is paid up.

Shouldn't be too hard to spot this rig - it is probably already in pieces, tho. :(
Everybody spread the word --

Just to clarify for everyone....it definitely wasn't the owner who stole it, since this is Glenn's rig.

My guess is that it's still in town (Heber). Transporting it in one piece out of town without drawing attention would be risky (although, possible). The SX's or the winch will probably surface first. Who knows if the thief or thieves would be stupid enough to sell the Sami parts locally. I'd like to see them try.....:mad3:

You're probably correct Von about it being in Heber. Can't imagine flat towing a vehicle all the way down that winding canyon to the city and a locked up steering wheel.

A couple of fun surprises await them if/when they use the running gear and/or engine. The vehicle was under construction, though I ain't telling what the hitch is going to be. I'd love to see their punk faces though the first time they go wheeling with the stuff... heh, heh, heehhhhh :vader2:

What we're going to bust them on are the vinyl doors, and some other of the one of a kind items on the vehicle. This isn't kids stuff like stealing a stereo..... Someone is going to jail eventually for this felony.

Von I would think your right except there isnt a whole lot of space in heber or midway, I would say they used a enclosed trailer but i dont think it would fit in. Nick and myself are checking everywhere but i think someone would be talkin right know, My guess it went out the vernal way

I have family and friends in the Vernal area, so I called whoever answered their phones to help out. Not much more I can do from here. Unfortunately there are a lot of hiding places in the Basin area, especially around Whiterocks, Tridell, Lapoint, and Neola.
Plus keep in mind that a RRCA event is in Vernal in Aug. Bet E1 will already be looking @Moab, cedar city, etc.

Best of luck to yas, and string up the bastard if you find him.:usa:
