So check this out:eek:
If you dont have enough light while backing up and you dont want to smash them into a rock then try this! Take off the tailgate and cut two holes on each side I think its 3x5 or 2x5 and wire it through the body. A simple switch and you have a good clean install with enough light to see everything behind you with out worry:flipoff2:

Drive-by-Braille! :flipoff2:
only problem is now my damn tailgate won't open and the top doesn't fit.. and the bumper is bent down at an angle so you slip off and smack your chest or chin on the top of the tailgate half the time..
Good thing I don't need to heft my toolbox out of the back too often, but the straps are all in there, and I do wheel with a bunch of Broncos, so I need the straps pretty often.. :D

i just mounted my lights on my swing away tire rack. i can hardly even see the tailgate w/ the 33 on the there. i suppose if i put some lights in the tailgate, i sould see the back of my tire real good when backin up though :flipoff2:

hey, sounds like a personal prob to me, what about a light mount to your rollcage? face them backwards and down, should clear the tire. :D

I have seen that done. Might do that. I'd like to get a single light, very broad spread, and mount it in the middle of my spare tire. I used to have on there, but it got wiped out when I backed into a bank. :) It was not as bright as I wanted, anyway.
I should get a really bright halogen, then the next time some idiot is tailgating me on the freeway at night, turn it on and wake the idiot up!!! :) Oh, wait, that might be considered road rage. Besides, my luck, the idiot would swerve and kill someone.

i basically just made an extended piece that goes behind the tire for the light on the drivers side and for the pass side i just mounted it directly ontthe rack, it is pretty much just square, room for gas cans and hi lift jack and other shiot. i'll post some pix when i get my website runnin
