I've swapped a '96 4.0L out of an XJ into my CJ-7. The XJ used an offset fan to the passenger side using the A/C bracket. I want to run a mechanical clutch fan in my CJ. I need to know what combination of water pump and serpantine belt to use to do this. I tried a '95 YJ water pump, put it appears to be a long snout, and doesn't line up with my crank and alternator pulleys. I'm also trying to figure out how to route the serpantine pulley to the alternator, as the bracket on the front of the timing cover looks like it's going to interfere. If anybody has pics of their '96+ YJ/TJ belts, without A/C, that would be greatly beneficial. Thanks for the help.

I believe you can use the pulleys water pump and fan off a 93 YJ and that will work... There was a post a few weeks ago on the same stuff try searching for it there was alot of good info on it with alot of helpful links..

Thanks LOS. I tried the search thing, and I've been to all the sites listed on that post the other week. None of them mention setting up the serpantine belts or which pulleys to use. I was hoping somebody could take a look at their YJ/TJ and tell me how everything gets routed.
