I know we all love searching our local salvage yards, but sometimes we pick through our supply of parts and you can only go so far out of town to look through different yards.

FWIT it seems to be a heck of an engine, found numerous things from FJ80 HP Electric locking axles to classic car parts...Give it a whirl, if anything i can delete this post...

Ordered an axle assembly from a place called Southern Imports, it was about 5 states away, was in my neighboring state the next day and the shipping company was calling to confirm the address telling me theyd be there monday afternoon (Ordered this thursday late afternoon)

Well, before anybody else slams you let me say this is old news, most everybody here knows about car-parts :rasta: BUT don't think about deleting this post, :flipoff2: them, somebody's gonna see this that didn't know about it before and it is a great resource.

Also, it gives me a chance to ask a question I want to know the answer to. How can you search for a part that's not in their standard list of parts? For example, the neutral safety switch for a jeep cherokee - I found one on my own but when I was looking a couple months ago I couldn't find anything on car-parts even though I know tons of junkyards must have them.

most do ship, seems to be the internet version of the 1-800 number'd junkyard that you call in the phonebook that can get parts from junkyards anywhere in the US with parts delivered to your door.

well, i'm sure the N-safety switch is mounted on or near the tranny, find the year vehicle your looking for and find just pick the tranny, whoever has the lowest price, call them up and ask if they can get you the switch.
