Why must it be from a YJ?

Also YJs had 2 entirely different TBs you can't use just any YJ TB.

It does not need to be from a YJ
just match the years look for any 91 to 95 4.0
mine came off a 93 Grand Coerokee
Make sure it is a 4 bolt and not an early model 3 bolt

The newer Jeeps 96 and up have a MAP sensor mounted to the throttle body.
