How exactly can i tell which rear axles i have. i used to assume a Dana 35 (possibly with the C clip, i've never checked). when i changed my rear diff fluid, i bought the gasket for a 94 cherokee with dana 35, the gasket was way too small. after 20 minutes of comparing different gaskets with the diff cover, the chrysler 8.25 was the perfect match. :)
is the only c clip type the dana 35 C? does the chrysler 8.25 have a c-clip. i'd like to get new gears but i need to know what the hell i have first.
Thanks

Dude, we'll help you with your stock stuff, but you've got to know what you have before you can ask an intelligent question about it.
Have you tried Google? jeeptech.com has some good idenifying info

yup you're probably right, but you have to know that when you sned someone a reference page, that page SHOULD have some related articles to the topic in question.
also genius, i wouldnt ask a question trying to find out what i have if i already know what i have.
I don't suppose you've read the Mission Statement (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1223) have you?
