What do you guys who have your own parts washer use for fluid? I've had my fluid on order now for 2 months, and am getting a bit agitated with Harbor Freight. What can I use in its place? It's holding my progress on rebuilding my axles...
Kerosene
Gasoline
Whacha trying to eat off? grease and gunk?

For a non-flammable, low odor alternative (my parts washer is in my basement) I use Zep's purple degreaser (alkaline, Sodium Hydroxide based solution) and it works good. we run a dual head chemical pump we got from Surplus Center and we run a water rinse staion off the second head. This removes any of the film that the degreaser leaves. but for most things the film just comes off if you wipe the part dry, and it's not a lot of film anyway.
The degreaser is available at HD for $27/5 gallons.

A little bit of both. I will scrap off anything heavy, but right now I have to clean my carriers in prep for a new gear/bearing install....
