I'm looking for the spline count on the SII steering column.

I don't need the Grant adapter number, I need to know if the colum is the same as the "40-Spline Ford" or the "36-Spline GM"

Basically, I'm looking to convert it to quick disconnect when I change out the wheel for something a little more fashoinable.

well it is a GM column, so it can't be that hard!:flipoff2:

I put a 93 cavalier steer wheel on no problem. Slipped right on with no issues.
OS how's it going bro. Haven't heard a progress report in awhile.

I called Grant and they confirmed that the "36-Spline GM" quick disconnect will work on the Scout II columns.
