The dress-up kit pieces are machined from stainless steel and aluminum. Custom lengths are available upon request with a minimum length of 26-1/2î from the end of the ìDouble Dî spline to the top edge of the aluminum body .The standard stock length is 32-1/2î.

Tom-

In my '43 MB I dropped a 30" custom tilt shaft. To get it into the steering box I had Flame river (company I ordered thru) send me a 8" piece of DD stock that I cut and MIGd into the wyrm drive on my steering box. I then had a clean 3/4 inch DD to mate up to coming out of the box.
My '47 2A came with a GM column (undetermined as to type) and a Sag conversion. The column, frame, body, axles are all inhabiting seperate areas of the garage right now and there are no guarantees as to who or what gets invited back when it's time to get put back together.
