Okay, I just pulled the diff cover and the gears look good and the bearing cap bolts are tight. One problem I did find was a thin carrier shim on the driver's side that was coming out. I could push it back into place relatively easily with my fingers. Obviously this shouldn't be. How could this happen? Thoughts on a fix? I only had the gears/locker set-up in June or July with only the Fall Crawl in September (Class VI roads; easy wheeling) under my belt as far as wheeling.
Any other thoughts?
