View Full Version : Dana 60 rear center pumpkin Spline count question...

Not a newbie to Jeeps but relitivly new to Pirate.... I'm a Jeepaholics guy actually.

I have a D60 rear out of a FORD . It's a full floater 8 lug with 4:10's and a LSD.... Spline count is 16...... This going to be an issue if I'm running 37's ???

Also...... what about shaving the pumpkin....... I'm thinking that I might not worry about it.....

what is the DIA of the shafts? people run 17 spline Eaton rear ends with few problems...

D60 with stock spline (not upgraded to 35) = D44.

Couldn't tell you right now... I haven't pulled um yet.

Even worse...When I pulled my Super 35 shafts and compared them to the shafts outa my stock 60 i was shocked to find that the super 35 shafts were a few thousands LARGER :laughing: , so I board the spindals and go 35 spline shafts... :eek: these things are huge:flipoff2:
