Im looking at buying a yota, and its got a weber carb on it. I want to know if this would be smog legal in CA.. can anyone verify this?

FWIW, I wouldn't touch it unless you get some documentation from Weber showing that there is EO from the CARB for that specific carb, and anything else that changed such as the filter, manifold, etc..

Well, the truck is in Oregon right now. Thats why I ask if it would be CA legal. My guess is probably not. I think we might end up meeting in sac somewhere to do the buy. I was thinking I could go see if I could get it smogged before I bought it.

Cali law stated that owner is responcible for smog. Unless U R getting the truck for next to nothing, make him smog it.

Id be getting the truck for a trade for my jeep. I could make him smog it, but then he could make me smog mine too...

Is it a pickup or a cruiser? there are some webers that are considered direct replacement for the pickups, none are legal for the cruiser.
