I did it and it didn't work. What could I have done wrong? The stock tank will hold 42 gallons if you take the time to top it off. Everywhere I fill up, it will take around 6 more gallons after the pump clicks off, and it takes about 10 - 15 minutes to do it. I've got over 400K on the truck now, and that's a lot of wasted time. MattS, have you done this mod? Anybody?

Do you have the long bed or short bed? I believe the tanks are different sizes and he sells two different kits for each one. Seems like if you got the new vent up as high as possible and the tube up high in the vent line it should work fine. The only other thing is maybe the new vent hose got pinched somehow. If you got it from D.K. off TDR I am sure he would be glad to help you figure it out.

I haven't done it and have no plans to. Did you follow the directions exactly like the link I sent ya? Everyone else seems to rave about it. It doesn't really bother me. But then again, I only fill up twice a month. You on the other hand- :eek:

I have never heard of this mod and would really like to be able to use my entire tank.

TRD, ask around for the link...otherwise do a search on TDR website for "vent mod".

Matt, I did everything like it said. I don't know if I used the same size hose (I used 3/8). I'm on the road until Nov. 14th, so I'll check it then.
