Already got a chiltons but unless you know what your looking for its spread all over the place.

I need to know what all the holes are for on the intake, the vaccums and sensors. Im putting a tbi on there and i need to know what i have to keep and what i can simply take out of the equation. If theres a page with this insfo id liek to have the link plz, i searched all day and must not have been to good at it cuz i didnt find a single thing.

ex where does the temp sensor go for the tbi system, is it the same as the one for the console display?

Thx

Rear larger hole is used for PVC

Rear small hole behind TB is plugged on mine

TBI temp sender is beside oil fill on opposite side of thermostat housing

Old temp sender is still located on drivers side front corner

I have a Y fitting coming off passenger side corner in front of TB, one goes to distributor, other larger one goes to vacuum brakes.

Mine TBI has worked great like this for 8 years.

great thx, thats what i was hoping, sweet and simple.

Do you still need the vacum for the distributor? you dont need the advance with a tach filter do you?

Depends on what ignition system you are running. I use TBI on my 401; I retained the motorcraft distributor, use it in conjuction with TFI modifications (cap and coil) and an MSD 6A module. My advance is still vacuum controlled. I didn't want to change to an HEI distributor to utlilize ECM controlled advance; that function has been disabled in my ECM.
