Is it the angle, or is that thing much larger than I thought it was gonna be?

Built on the 4Runner platform. Can't be much bigger...

nah, its still fugly. if it was branded with anything but a Toyota logo, you know you would all feel the same way :flipoff2: its a cross between a honda element and a hummer. eeew. I think a camery could out wheel that thing! :D

Wheelbase is a little short for being a tow rig. I was thinking 105 but I could be remembering it wrong.

I like it and look forward to seeing someone SAS one. It is going to get interesting when the new owners start showing up on the forums. It is also going to send the value of our old 40s through the roof. I have the feeling the days of finding a cheap 40 are short lived. :(

I wonder how long it is before they offer a removable top....maybe it will be like most cars. The manuf. offers the convertible option a year or two after the initial introduction....

Me, never, but it seems like every couple of months that someone seems to find a near mint condition 40 that they get for almost nothing. I have found two rust bucket 40s locally that the owners think are worth thousands and a mint condition 55 the owner is not ready to sell... yet. :D I may be a pig owner one day.

I have to admit I'm more excited about the glimpse of the Mega Cruiser and 40 in the background.

I'm a speculative buyer on the FJ Cruiser. I bought one already knowing that my deposit can double or triple the money if they make it.
