Im keepin the goldfish, but still have the tank in tryin to get rid of, plus a 15 gallon hex.

The 50 gallon tank is dry, and is not the one pictured with the fish. It did not leak last I checked it. I would recommend that you put it outside and fill it with water and watch it for a few days to make shure it doenst leak. The faux wood trim has seen better days, but is still servicable. No hood, but it does have a light. No other accessories included. Tank is somewhat dirty, water stains, cobwebs, etc etc and needs elbow grease to look pretty again.

I have a 15 gallon hex tank with an undergravel filter. It has a home made plexiglass lid, a light that is slightly bigger than the top (but works flawlessly) and comes with your choice of pink and black gravel, or black and pink gravel. This would make an OK tank to go anywhere, just make a better fitting top. I have a couple of powerheads I could throw in as well. An air pump is included too if I can find it.

I am right off Highway 50 and El Dorado Hills Blvd. My neighbor has a large tank and most of his goldfish have died off. He has 1 left and wants to get some more. If you drop them off, they will have a place. Let me know.

Died off?? goldfish are VERY hard to kill :D I know, I have tried to :P The PH of the water doesnt stay where it should be, something to do with the water being too soft im told? My goldfish tank's PH dropped below 6.0, so low it would not show on the test kits. I lost my favorite fish, and have no interest in keeping them now. He was about 6" long, had him since he was a feeder. Now I have some rocks in a baggie that is supposed to slowly release stuff to keep PH up, and wont screw up your plants like the ph bandaid stuff.

somebody turned off the heat in his house while he was away and some fish died. Then somehow the water got to low and the pump got disconnected... These fish were raised from feeders so he had them a while. If you want to drop the fish off that would be cool, he only has 1 left! Don't need a tank though...

Wow, how long was he gone for??? I have left these guys alone for at least 3 weeks at a time, and they did fine. If the tank ran low on water, that is along time of neglect. Heh, I am one to preach about neglect, LOL. I found 2 live frogs trapped in my siphon tank/pre filter assembly, and found my 8" long eel that had been missing for a month behind the tank dead. Still havent sealed the holes :( I need to know where to drop these guys off at, and when.

Are these fantail goldfish or general feeder ones? I have a 70 gallon set up for my wife with 5 5-7" fantail goldfish. I live in Citrus Heights by the Sunrise Mall Sunrise/Madison. Please let me know.
thanks,
Troy

I have one person who wants the fish, but I cant seem to get my act together and drop them off. Another person was interested in the tank, but has not said they will take it for shure. If you are coming from red bluff, I do not think the tank is worth the drive. For what it would cost in gas, you could buy a used one in nicer condition with accessories.
