The local guy I get my steel from (used) has an International Crew Cab sitting in his yard. Now, I am a Ford guy myself, but I do realize that this truck is pretty rare- 2wd, 3/4 ton, not perfect, but in really good shape for a midwest truck.( wish my Ford Crew Cab was in as good shape!!) Says he doesnt have the title but he is working on getting it. Is it worth it for me to rescue this truck from being pancaked, shredded and sent to China?? I could even hook someone up with the guys phone# to enshure a happy ending for this truck.

If it was a 69-73 truck, was cheap enough, and was in California I'd buy it just for the cab. Of course I have a 71 with a rusted cab...

Why don't people ever give a location on this stuff?

It's in the midwest, but I'm not sure just how far that is from a magical castle built on clouds and dreams! :shaking: :shaking: :flipoff2:

Dont know what year it is, but from my limited knowledge of IH, I would guess it to be the 70's (Last body style before they bailed from the light duty truck market) Didnt give a location because I didnt want my area to be flooded with misguided people with the thought of "Shoo-wee!!, if'n I kin find that there pik-m-up truk, I'll put a shovolay engine in it!! (before you IH people get all pissy about that joke- it's more a slam at people that think its ok to put a chevy engine in a rare unique vehicle, thereby cheapening what made it special in the first place) I am in southern Iowa.
