Hi Guys,

I have all ready search through the forum for this kind of problem but haven not found much...

Basicly, Cold start in the morning, it will idle really rough, and if you don't hold a rev (about 1500-2000rpm) it will just stall out...

I have not checked for vaccum leeks yet, but I do know that I have a exhaust bolt missing. (I don't know if that could have anything to do with it, but I hear it when I drive)

Once it warms up alittle it's fine, idles ok. I just drove it from NY to VT (300miles) and it cruised fine...

If anyone has any good idea's that would awesome!

I'm dying to put some tires on and get on a few trails around here, but I not going to when I can even idle when I start up my rig...

Thanks!

Jake

check the air intake hose above the smog rail besidethe valve cover. they develop a hole there from the heat. also the throttle position sensors are know to go to shit. i have the same problem. i'm gonna rebuild the throttle body, clean the intake, new gaskets, etc. and hopefully that will get it working.

Its the black square with the plug in it on the side of the throttle body in the pic.

Also check out the main page. There are tons of good pics from my rebuild.

Ok, I had a hole in my intake but it's still stalling... it seems to happen when it starts to get a little warmer. When I first start it in the morning... it idles fine, but then after 30-60sec, it will start getting rough, then will stall...

The TPS is next on my list...

Thanks again..
