Hi,
does anyone know of a kit or similar to install a sway bar on a series rig? I am thinking of putting parabolics on mine, but I had them before and there was too much body roll. I am just trying to figure out the best thing to do and am considering all the options.
Thanks

Many military trucks were fitted with these. I have some laying around if you need them.

This is linus from california
Is this something that is a bolt on arrangement or is there some fabrication involved in mounting one?

ex MOD ambulances IIa, have a front sway (anti-roll) bar fitted as standard, but the parts are listed as obsolete on landrover parts system.

My ex-MoD ambulance - now a 3-door - had both front & rear bars.

'71 IIa - they're on the floor under the Mazda right now, right next to the ones from the Disco.

I have installed very soft semi-elliptic springs on my IIA and get even more body roll than an equivalent landie with RM parabolics. Although I can scare the passergers when I go round corners, the handling and road holding IMO is much better, and I just ignore the body roll. With the 410lb/in military springs it was fitted with when I bought it, I would lift wheels if I took corners at the same speed I can now.

Fun to drive with Ben, FUN to drive with Ben..

Just wear a 5 point and a brain bucket Hee Hee.
Funny how handling is perceived, but I feel very comfortable in a Car with a lot of body roll if it provides enough "feel" to let me know when enough is indeed enough.
I raced an old 911 that was much "easier" springed that some of my compadres running in the same class, I would get teased about "wallowing" through the corners but you know, my lap times where at least as fast as most and I never ended up spinning into the bales as many of the racers did. I'm sure most of it was related to overspringing the car and alot of the guys thought their cars could apply alot more down force or thought the tires they ran would compensate.. I was happy doing a fast "wallow" to the finish line..
