Just picked up a 93 rodeo 4x4 v6 couple days ago too go with my old 91 LUVPUP isuzu truck 2wd 4 banger (holeeecrap slow)

I read the write up on the ball joint flip from planet isuzu.. the few questions I have are, do you need the spacer, and if not, how does the spacer help? and where can I get a spacer. (or is it pretty damn easy to make?) Sorry about the noob question, but I wana make sure before I jump into this weekend while im changing my cv shafts.

also, does that lift (ball joint flip and crank up t-bars) the front enough to match a SOA on the rear? I want it pretty even, dont like no prerunner or hot rod look.

right now im pretty damn happy with the rodeo, got a helluva bargin on it, the same equiped 4runner seems to go for 2X or more the price of the rodeo's...and ive driven both and can't say the 4runner is really worth the extra cost.

Here's the best pic in the 4wd suppliment manual. Dont make you truck all tough! I kinda wana make a shirt with that pic on it.

When you crank the torsion bars, it makes the front end go out of alignment. Flipping the balljoint helps correct this. Adding the spacer helps even more. You do not need the spacer to flip the balljoint, but now would be an ideal time to add it. You can purchase from www.darlington-offroad.com or www.independent4x.com. It wouldn't be worth your time to try and make it for what they are selling for.

Negative on the SOA. Its a lot of work and you will probably still end up with some rake. I have about 2" of rake, with the front torsion bars maxed out and 300 lbs of blocks in the rear.
