I HAVE TO SAY I'M SORRY :emb4: FOR NOT INTRODUCING MYSELF BEFORE HAND MY NAME IS BURL YEA DIFFERENT BUT I LIKE TO BE DIFFERENT:D I HAVE A 77 FJ-40 THATS UNCONSTRUCTION AS THE STICKER SAYS ACROSS THE WINDSHIELD. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A CRUISER SINCE I FIRST SAW ONE BEFORE I COULD DRIVE AND MADE A TRADE FOR MINE WITH A TOYOTA TRUCK ABOUT 7 YEARS.I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED READING THE POSTS ON THIS BB AND HAVE FOUND ALOT OF INTERESTING THINGS I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT CRUISERS.I HOPE THAT ALL OF YOU OTHER CRUISERHEADS WILL FORGIVE ME:emb: AND I MEAN WHAT I SAY ABOUT THE "J" WORD I HATE MY 40 BEING CALLED A F@*KING "J**P"

Yep, Welcome aboard.
It was funny but a friend of my kids (12 & 9) shouted "Nice J**p" a we drove past. Both kids YELLED in unison "It's not a J**p, it is a LAND CRUISER". ;)
Don't worry over in this forum lots of nice folks, and no bashing. When I miss being bashed I just head over the General Chit Chat section to see if Roxy or Gena will beat up on me. :D

I understand what you mean, last time I tried to showa (stupid) friend what my car looked like, showing a BJ40. Replied : -Oh yeah that J**p ! I just gave up...
BTW, I'm a newbie, too and decided to make my coming out after lurking for years.
I'm from France, and own 2 BJ40s, one of them is going to be stripped down at the end of the week for a complete frame-off. I bought it because I couldn't help seeing it rusting... and the price was more than fair :D
BTW, I also launched the french "toy4x4" mailing list a year ago. 99.5% diesel cruisers out there :flipoff2:

Just wanted to thank everyone for the :flipoff2: welcome and sorry again about the cap locks guess i have alot to learn :rasta:
you know if you can't type you lock plus i like to be locked (the hubs) anyway. Thanks again and :flipoff2: to everyone back!!
