Not for an '89 Rodeo. The Rodeo didn't exist until '91

I haven't seen any v8 conversion parts made for Isuzus.

the only bolt on stuff for isuzu's is the kind YOU cut, weld, drill holes in, and then bolt on :flipoff2:

put a lot of vaseline around the engine compartment and start with a 4.3L put it in real slow until she get used to it then move up the 350

There is not a whole lot of aftermarket support for isuzus. All of the upgraded parts on my trooper are custom, thats part of the fun.

Folks, we have a winner! I would suggest using KY though... the vaseline will eat through latex and that just leads to a whole list of other problems you don't want to be dealing with.

Actually, some crazy canadians are making a basic kit for Isuzus. Includes engine and tranny mounts and instructions. http://www.ultimatecustoms.ca/ They make em for the 350 and 302s.

Funny! FWIW, a 4.3 fits pretty easy, even without K-Y. With a V8 , though you can cram a short-block in pretty easyily, when you start bolting the accessories on, things get really tight really fast. :p
