hey what do you guys think I got a 4.6lt with tranny out of a car, I can get a transfer case out of a pick up and put it behind it, right? This a good idea or a bad one. I'm a ok mech but I have lots of friends that know what they're doing let me know what you all think.

I would not do that.

I have a 1997 F150 w/ 4.6 and that motor doesn't make much of its power until 3,500 RPM or higher. In a YJ you would need a tranny from a 4wd, and I wouldn't be surprised if the car engine will not bolt up to a truck tranny.

I'm sure there are better options.
