i did a search but only found tips on installing the F250 shock towers, but no years or part numbers. can anybody tell me the range of years to use?

Well what on earth did you search for??? Ford shock tower works (and thus plain old shock tower). :rolleyes: Please, in the future learn to be a little more proficient with the search feature.

You can order them from www.spidertrax.com I just bought some for my fiance's sami. Havent installed them yet but there pretty beefy! Waaaay longer than the stock sami towers.

Or you can go down to FORD and get them for 10 bucks each.. and save the extra money for dinner..

Mine were 11 bucks each out the door.

I cant find them at any ford dealership for $10. The lowest qoute around here is for $48.

That out of 9 Ford dealers here in the area.

Maybe I will just ask for that part # and see what they say.

But they even pointed to me on the screen and thats what they were.

on a side note I have 97 f250 powerstroke diesel that has em. Wonder how my tow rig would handle without shocks? :)

I'm using these to extend the shock mount on my Toyota after my Solid Axle Swap. These guys have them for $8.74 each. Took about a week and a half to show up at my door.

Nice link. Note that you can search for the part directly using the part number, just leave out the dashes. ie. search for part number E5TZ18183A

Dennis, sounds like they're giving you the price for the shock, not the bracket. Highest I've seen is $15 each which as fate would have it is what I paid for them :rolleyes:

I went down to the Ford dealership today and they wanted $48/ea. I asked them why everyone else says they can get them for around $10 and the parts guy just laughed.

You just need to have a friend at the parts counter. Two sets $30 out the door.:flipoff2:
