My TJ's OE radiator sprung a leak at the upper tank seal the other day. My understanding is that with plastic tanks, it cannot be repaired.
Rather than drop $$$ at a dealership for another TJ radiator, I would sooner drop in something else, like a Griffin jobber.
I would prefer just a "plain ole'" aluminum radiator manufactured to dimensions to fit in my TJ. I can make up all the necessary bracketry to mount it as well as a fan.
I didn't see anything on Griffin's web site about "general purpose" units or pricing.
Does anyone know what a Griffin would cost, say approximately 22"x22" including the top and bottom tank?
Are there any other options out there for radiators?
